Technical Lead Oracle OIC

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead for Oracle OIC to join our client's team. This individual will play a key role throughout the Oracle Fusion implementation by providing hands on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud along with leadership and oversight. The initial technical direction for go live is already established. However this person will be responsible for identifying risks early calling out issues and ensuring technical integrity across all integration workstreams.

After go live this leader will help build and mature the company's first internal Oracle technology team by creating standards mentoring new team members and supporting the long term growth of the Oracle environment.

Experience in the commercial real estate industry is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development and Technical Leadership

* Serve as the lead OIC developer for the Oracle Fusion implementation while designing building and maintaining integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud Visual Builder Process Automation and other related Oracle Cloud tools.
* Review validate and challenge existing technical designs to ensure they align with business requirements and follow best practices.
* Identify integration or architectural issues early and provide recommendations for resolution.
* Own the full integration lifecycle including design build testing deployment and post go live support.

Systems Integrator Oversight and Accountability

* Act as the primary technical counterpart to the systems integrator to ensure delivery meets expectations.
* Validate systems integrator deliverables including designs integration patterns and documentation.
* Ensure accountability by evaluating whether timelines estimates and resource plans from the systems integrator are realistic and achievable.
* Conduct technical reviews and raise concerns when risks defects performance issues or inconsistencies appear.
* Ensure integrations meet performance reliability and security standards.

Cross Functional Collaboration

* Collaborate with functional leads PMO architects and business subject matter experts to ensure integrations support intended business processes.
* Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure all integrations comply with enterprise standards.
* Support SIT and UAT cycles by troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating efforts with internal teams and the systems integrator.

Building the Internal Oracle Team

* After go live help establish the company's first internal Oracle technical practice.
* Create coding standards governance models and reusable integration patterns.
* Mentor junior developers and internal staff to grow technical capability in OIC and Fusion technologies.
* Assist in future roadmap planning for enhancements integrations and additional Oracle modules.

Required Skills and Experience

* At least five years of hands on Oracle Integration Cloud experience.
* Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with both on premise and third party systems.
* Strong understanding of modern integration patterns including APIs event based integrations and file based flows.
* Proven ability to lead technical design perform code reviews and enforce best practices.
* Experience validating vendor or systems integrator work and pushing back when appropriate.
* Ability to analyze complex technical issues and recommend practical solutions.
* Familiarity with Visual Builder Process Automation or SOA Suite is beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to point out risks challenge assumptions and influence direction.
* Experience in the commercial real estate industry is required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a greenfield Oracle Fusion implementation.
* Background in building or maturing in house technical teams.
* Knowledge of OCI integration security certificates OAuth two and networking concepts.
* Experience managing or reviewing work delivered by offshore or vendor teams.
