Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Optimization Analytics Consultant with hands-on experience in process optimization and mathematical modeling using Pyomo. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and can translate business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement optimization models using Pyomo to solve real-world business problems in areas such as Salesforce optimization, pricing strategy, and supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to identify optimization opportunities and align solutions with business goals.
- Support post-implementation solutioning, reinforcing processes and driving continuous improvement across enterprise systems.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, translating technical insights into strategic decisions.
- Apply machine learning and AI techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and model performance.
- Utilize tools like AnyLogic and other simulation/analytics platforms to support scenario planning and decision modeling.
- Contribute to the upskilling of finance and operations teams, helping integrate optimization into daily workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in data science, optimization, or analytics roles.
- Proven expertise in Pyomo for mathematical modeling and optimization.
- Experience in Salesforce, pricing, or supply chain optimization projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.
- Understanding of AnyLogic or similar simulation tools.
- Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and their application in business contexts.
- Background in Operations Research, Chemical Engineering, or a related quantitative field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the life sciences industry or regulated environments.
- Exposure to enterprise systems and backend integration strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
