Lucas Group has partnered with our client, a specialist in proactive remote video surveillance for US commercial properties and businesses, on their search for an Operations Manager in Birmingham AL.   The company strongly supports interaction with local law enforcement, military operations, governments and private institutions (schools, colleges, churches, etc.) and strive to promote public and private partnerships in innovative ways.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for a large scale operation that runs on a continuous, 24/7 basis. The Operations Manager must be able to navigate work/life balance with a flexible schedule to ensure the operation runs smooth.

Supports building a strong and effective security team through field supervision and dispatching of qualified officers assigned to the area of responsibility. As needed or directed, the Operations Manager will: confirm post coverage, conduct uniform/knowledge inspections, liaise with client, log visits, address safety concerns, schedule training, and make recommendations for improvement to the client and/or chain of command.

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years of responsible experience in LE/Military or the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Will require ASRB Alabama Armed Security Licensure and pistol/conceal carry permit (ASRB License can be obtained via company after hire)
• Must maintain a valid Alabama driver's license and maintain company-issued vehicle when utilized.
• Must be able to hold responsibility with little supervision or oversight.
