Office Manager / Legal Assistant (temp-to-hire)
Boutique civil litigation law firm near World Trade Center/ Westfield in Lower Manhattan
Temp-to-hire opportunity. Starting rate: 20-23/ hr DOE, raise and review upon salaried hire.
Operations:
- Manage the day –to-day operations of a small law firm, including supplies, budgets, equipment purchasing, planning office layouts, etc.
- Screen/ direct incoming phone calls as appropriate.
- Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with technical vendors regarding items such as social media maintenance, server and website issues.
- Assist with legal billing
Legal:
- Support the preparation and filing of various legal documents
- Provide general support to the attorneys as needed
