.NET Test Analyst

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Test Analyst to join a large-scale financial services transformation programme. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of business-critical applications, integrations, and APIs across a complex technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed technical test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple applications and services.
- Validate APIs and service integrations.
- Test .NET/C# applications and components.
- Analyse, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Review technical designs and provide input from a testing perspective.
- Support release planning, readiness, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives where appropriate.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience testing .NET / C# applications.
- Proven background in API testing and integration testing.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
- End-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) experience.
- Experience working within Financial Services environments.
- Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.
Desirable Experience
- Test automation experience.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
- Exposure to complex, highly integrated application environments.
