We have partnered with our client in their search for a Mobile Security Engineer/Architect.
Responsibilities
Go to SME for all things Security. Will be responsible for providing guidance, engineering, and security architecture as our firm continues to expand its mobile platform offerings.
Tech-savvy individual with a passion for security and a deep understanding of mobile devices, apps, and enterprise mobile security architecture.
Developing and implementing a secure mobile architecture strategy and providing technical guidance on mobile security and risk assessment.
Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Skills Required
5 years of experience in the security architecture space, with a strong understanding of mobile device management, mobile application development, mobile device security and risk assessment
Proven and extensive experience in secure software development principles in various languages and frameworks (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, etc.)
Strong understanding of application security standards and practices, such as the OWASP Top 10
Knowledge of practical threat modeling for consumer applications
Demonstrated ability to explain risks and vulnerabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of Mobile Application security as it pertains to payments, sensitive data, and/or gambling on applications.
Hands-on experience working with DevOps and Agile-driven product teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team or individually and receptive to feedback
