MICROSOFT 0365 GCCH SPECIALIST
Our client is seeking a Microsoft O365 specialist experienced in Microsoft Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environments and security compliance. This role supports government and regulated clients by designing, deploying, and securing Microsoft 365 solutions that align with NIST, FedRAMP, and CMMC frameworks. You will serve as both a technical specialist and a trusted advisor, helping clients modernize securely while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID) within GCCH environments.
- Configure and manage security and compliance controls including Conditional Access, DLP, and MFA.
- Implement and monitor solutions using Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Sentinel.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and remediation aligned with federal compliance standards.
- Automate administrative tasks via PowerShell and ensure environment optimization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience.
- 2+ years supporting GCCH or Microsoft Government Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and CMMC compliance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, Defender, and Entra ID.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Preferred: Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, SC-300, SC-200, AZ-500); experience in public-sector consulting; familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture.
