MES Engineer (Emerson Syncade)

Location: Ireland (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 months
Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE)

Overview

We're supporting a major life sciences manufacturing programme entering a critical execution phase, where MES and automation capability are central to operational readiness.

This is a hands-on Syncade role focused on configuration and development, not support. You'll be working directly across MES and automation interfaces in a live, regulated manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Configure and develop Emerson Syncade workflows and process logic
• Support batch execution readiness and MES deployment
• Work across MES and DeltaV / automation systems to ensure alignment
• Troubleshoot issues during rollout and stabilisation
• Collaborate with automation, QA, and manufacturing teams

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Emerson Syncade MES
• Proven track record in configuration / development
• Exposure to DeltaV and/or automation systems (essential)
• Experience in pharma / biotech manufacturing environments
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-focused programmes
• Solid understanding of GxP / GMP
