Lucas Group has partnered with a dynamic growing client in the Midtown/Atlanta area for a Mechanical Designer to be responsible for recommending design and documentation of new products, including all aspects of design verification
This is a contract to direct for the right candidate.
Job Description
- Prepare new drawings from sketches and actual parts
- Update and make drawing revisions as required
- Keep line layout drawings and programs current
- Suggest drafting equipment as needed
Qualifications
- AAS Degree or at least 3 years of experience
- Experience with Solidworks or Inventor
- Knowledge of mechanical drawing and design principles
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Provide part models for CAD libraries
