Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Administrator - REMOTE
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Administrator to support and maintain the client's Maximo environment. This role will focus on administration, configuration, and operational support of Maximo across both legacy and modern platforms, including Maximo 7.6 through MAS 9.1.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Maximo environments, performing upgrades, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting deployments on Linux and OpenShift platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IBM Maximo environments (7.6 and MAS 9.1)
- Support installation, configuration, and upgrades of Maximo Application Suite
- Manage system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Administer users, security groups, and application configurations
- Support deployments and operations on OpenShift and Linux environments
- Assist with system patches, upgrades, and environment maintenance
- Work with technical teams to support integrations and infrastructure
- Provide operational support and resolve production issues
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes
Required Qualifications
- Experience administering IBM Maximo (version 7.6 through MAS 9.1)
- Strong experience with Maximo Application Suite administration
- Experience working with Linux environments (RHEL preferred)
- Experience supporting applications running on OpenShift / Kubernetes
- Experience with Maximo system configuration and security
- Ability to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite deployment or upgrades
- Familiarity with IBM Db2 or other enterprise databases
- Experience supporting Maximo integrations or the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
- Experience in large enterprise or industrial environments (utilities, energy, manufacturing, etc.)
