The Lucas Group is searching for a talented, driven and entrepreneurial minded Marketing & Revenue Strategy Analyst for our client’s team in Atlanta. Our client is a logistics marketplace startup that will transform the experience around outsourced fulfillment.
The Marketing & Revenue Strategy Analyst will help analyze, grow and manage the demand-side of the business. The role will involve analyzing data to extract insights, defining new processes for analytics and reporting, refining the overall go-to-market strategy for the VP of Sales & Marketing to expand our client’s demand network. The Marketing & Revenue Strategy Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to assist with strategy, research and analytics. The Marketing & Revenue Strategy Analyst will have a direct and measurable impact on the growth and scale of the organization driven by data, research, analytics and execution. This Marketing & Revenue Strategy Analyst role that will have an internal and external focus with some elements being customer facing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define ideal customer profiles, high propensity verticals/ market segments while maximizing revenue velocity and client LTV
- Support sales, marketing and account management with continued refinement of go to market strategy in a quickly scaling business
- Lead cross-functional projects and build consensus with senior leaders across the W2G team
- Analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively to reduce complexity and make actionable recommendations for the leadership team
- Partner with senior leaders (Head of Sales and Marketing) to use data and insights to make informed decisions
- Uncover indirect sales channels and partners with insights that are rooted in research and analysis of industries and high value targets
- Influence pricing strategy with research and data
- Manage the testing and learning agendas to accelerate sales and marketing success
- Research and understand macro and microeconomic impacts on various verticals and market segments
- Leverage internal and external data to optimize deal velocity, conversion and LTV
- Inform the content strategy through analysis of industry trends and the relation to our value proposition
- Inform and drive insight/enablement programs for sales and account management
- Customer mindset: meet with customers and prospective customers to inform/ refine GTM
- Define and refine ideal customer profile to enable effective marketing messaging
- Work with senior leadership to define and continuously evolve the GTM across industry verticals and market segments
- Provide insight that allows for the maximizing revenue, resources, margins
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field is required. Master’s is preferred.
- 4+ years demonstrated experience in data mining, analysis and reporting within marketing
- Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
- Be entrepreneurial, curious, creative, and have a track record for thinking innovatively
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Have an outstanding academic track record from a leading university
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Additional experience working at a high growth startup / tech company
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes (e.g. warehouse management, transportation management, eCommerce logistics)
- Experience with SQL and Python
