The Lucas Group is searching for an experienced and talented Marketing Director, North America to add as a key member of our client’s team in Duluth, GA. In this role, the Marketing Director, North America will contribute to the company's overall marketing objectives by defining and implementing marketing strategies, and translating them into action plans for the Americas market. Your objectives will be achieved by communicating, championing, and monitoring the regional action plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Translate the divisional go-to-market strategies and the global marketing action plans into a regional marketing action plan, with a clear focus on ROI
· Serve as the single point of contact for all regional marketing activities in the Americas.
· Integrate and maintain a regional marketing approach (web, branding, tradeshows, PR)
· Manage the marketing team (organization) and controlling the team's operating budget
· Interact frequently with all internal stakeholders (divisional and regional) to introduce and discuss marketing activities, and to ensure cooperation
· Serve as a key member of the corporate marketing management team, with involvement in advising Barco's senior management on marketing directions and options
· Manage the selection and deployment of third party entities, with direct follow-up responsibility for these services
· Review existing processes and procedures, and formulating policies for their optimization

REQUIREMENTS

· BA/BS and Master’s degrees in Marketing, Communications, or a related field of study is required
· 10+ years extensive marketing experience in a management role is required
· Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in electronic communication
· Previous experience working with an international or structured global operation
· A strategic thinker, with a positive "can do" attitude. The qualified applicant must be highly proactive, with a flexible work ethic
· 25% domestic travel with some international required
