Interim VP/Senior Director of Marketing

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite 5 Days Per Week)
Engagement Type: Interim / Project-Based Assignment

This interim marketing leader will partner closely with executive leadership to drive brand awareness, demand generation, product marketing, and customer engagement initiatives. The role will lead a multi-functional marketing team spanning product marketing, performance marketing, digital marketing, content, events, customer insights, and partner marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Manage customer research initiatives (qualitative and quantitative) to better understand customer needs and refine messaging and value propositions.
  • Support brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies across products and services.
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop marketing campaigns, enablement tools, and account-based marketing initiatives that support business development efforts.
  • Oversee content strategy and creation across digital and traditional channels, ensuring clear and compelling customer communications.
  • Drive demand generation efforts across email, search, social media, digital advertising, events, and website channels.
  • Manage customer lifecycle marketing programs focused on engagement, retention, and program participation.
  • Monitor marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI, providing regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
  • Oversee marketing technology platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital marketing effectiveness, customer acquisition, and lead conversion.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering collaboration across sales, product, and executive leadership.
