Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
Lucas Group has partnered with a growing company. They are looking for individuals who are excited and passionate about aiding in our expansion by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
As Marketing Coordinator you will work closely with Sales to develop strategies that match customer requirements and promote products, services or ideas. As a successful candidate, you will work closely with our sales division to increase brand awareness by listening to customer needs, tracking trends, coordinating with Marketing partners, and relaying information on progress to the team.
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, in conjunction with excellent communication and networking skills, will enable you to excel in this role.
MUST HAVE CANNABIS EXPERIENCE
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals
- Field incoming requests for marketing partnerships, donations, event sponsorships, etc
- Coordinating partner details including sending product, updating marketing calendar, providing logos and photos.
- Work with Account Executive team as necessary to manage partnership requests.
- Direct all social media activities based on an annual Marketing Strategy.
- Manage social media calendar, content creation, and copy writing.
- Brainstorming content ideas that fit our marketing themes including coordinating photoshoots and posting content.
- Managing marketing paid strategies including Google adwords, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
- Recommendations for best practices, execution, and results tracking of the paid strategies with conclusions and suggestions for future campaigns.
- Minor design work and adjustments to Websites, POS.
- Manage outsource design team with minor projects and support sales team by coordinating updates to collaterals and sales sheets with designer.
- Trade Show and event coordination including entering sample shipments, booking and/or researching travel, attending shows/meetings with other team members or alone.
- Work with creative design firm to track project management updates and coordinate with other departments in the company.
Marketing Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 years in the Cannabis Industry
- 3 years in the marketing/brand/design strategy experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Social Media Management expert
- Attention to detail
- Resourceful Problem solver who can always find a way to get the job done
- Ability to travel
- Ability to respond well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Culture warrior and team player
- Knowledge and compliance of rules and regulations required for employees in the cannabis industry as set forth by the State of California and City of Jurisdiction
