Lucas Group is partnering with an oil and gas company in the Galleria area in their search for a Marketing Accountant. This is a long term contract position that is expected to be at least 1 year in duration. This position will be interfacing with Revenue Accounting, Marketing, Land and Legal.
Responsibilities:
- Create and send sales invoices to customers and ensure receipt of funds for assigned areas of responsibility
- Review and pay transporation invoices
- Actualize pipes in marketing system
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconcilements and actively work outstanding balances
- Provide data for audit, litigation, and acquisition and disposition issues and requests
- Track wellhead imbalances and respond to owner inquiries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years oil and gas marketing accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills
- SAP PRA or similar revenue system
- Endur or Allegro experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel
