Senior Market Access IT Systems Analyst (Contract)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Market Access IT Systems Analyst to support the execution of key technology initiatives across Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial Operations. This is a hands-on contract role for an experienced professional who can bridge business strategy and technology execution, helping implement scalable systems, reporting capabilities, process improvements, and operational solutions within a growing life sciences organization.
The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and an execution-focused leader, capable of evaluating technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving successful implementation of initiatives that support patient access, reimbursement, and payer-related operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support technology initiatives focused on Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial Operations.
- Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate operational needs into technology solutions.
- Drive implementation of business and technology strategies, ensuring successful execution and adoption.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and streamline workflows.
- Support system enhancements, integrations, and ongoing technology improvements within the market access ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across patient support and reimbursement functions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading or implementing technology initiatives within Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, or Commercial IT environments.
- Strong understanding of market access processes, reimbursement workflows, patient support programs, and payer operations.
- Demonstrated ability to execute technology and business strategies, not just define them.
- Experience designing, building, or supporting operational reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva platforms in a life sciences environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting reimbursement and patient services technology platforms.
- Familiarity with case management systems and reporting tools.
- Prior experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
- Experience working with commercial technology ecosystems and patient access solutions.
