We have partnered with our client in their search for a Market Access Advisor to serve as a strategic consultant responsible for shaping how the organization presents and commercializes its new Market Access/HEOR‑focused offering. This individual will leverage deep subject‑matter expertise in market access, payer/provider dynamics, Medicare data, and real‑world evidence environments to help the product team understand customer needs, define value propositions, and develop a practical go‑to‑market plan.

Responsibilities

    • Advise leadership on Market Access and HEOR landscape expectations, customer needs, and product‑market fit.
    • Shape product positioning and messaging for payer, provider, HEOR, and Market Access stakeholders.
    • Develop or co‑develop a strategic business plan to support product launch, growth, and customer engagement.
    • Provide expertise on payer systems, managed care contracts, and Medicare‑related data environments.
    • Guide the team on how life sciences companies evaluate data tools for Market Access and HEOR functions.
    • Partner with business development and engagement teams to identify target accounts and refine sales strategies.
    • Support early customer conversations, helping translate product capabilities into Market Access‑relevant value.
    • Serve as an internal resource on real‑world data (RWD), provider behavior, reimbursement pathways, and access strategy.

Skills Required

  • Extensive experience in market access, including payer strategies, reimbursement, or coverage/access pathways.
  • Familiarity with HEOR functions, methodologies, or real‑world evidence environments.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
  • Experience working with Medicare, payer systems, managed care organizations, or large insurance providers.
  • Strong understanding of how provider, payer, and access data is used to drive decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic commercial or product launch plans within life sciences.
