Our team of experts has extensive experience in warehouse management systems (WMOS), and we are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team on a contract basis.
Job Overview
The Manhattan WMOS Product Manager will oversee the development and management of our warehouse management system product. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The primary goal is to drive the success of our WMOS product and support clients in improving their warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the WMOS product, its features, and capabilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities
Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides and release notes
Work closely with the development team to define and prioritize product requirements
Ensure timely delivery of product releases and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product messaging and positioning
Train and support internal teams and clients on the use of the Manhattan WMOS product
Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize features and functionality
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to enhance product offerings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain processes
Proven track record of successfully managing and launching products
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Willingness to travel as needed
Contract Details
Contractor position based in Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN; or Phoenix, AZ
Relocation is permitted at the contractor’s own expense
Contract duration to be determined based on company needs and candidate availability
Compensation based on an hourly rate
Full-time hours expected
