The co. is opening a new entity that is going to be a law firm. This role will be titled either "Managing Partner" or "Partner" designation (there are actually two roles in play). All work with stem from the co. They are looking for someone that is comfortable presenting to senior executives and outlining what the company is doing, from a legal perspective.
The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in one or more of the following areas:
Bankruptcy
Creditor’s Rights
Mortgage Default
CCPA-Consumer Credit Protection Laws.
Responsibilities include:
Sales/Market Law Firm to Clients, Grow existing business (40%)
Coordinate with the 2 Indian-Heads of Legal (10%)
Oversee day to day operations and perform legal work in DC (50%).
