We are working with a growing manufacturing company in the Cleveland/Akron area to help them find a hands on Manager of Applications. We are looking for someone with high energy to inspire and lead a small development team, manage implementation and/or integration projects, and help lead the support of the ERP system. Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Collaborates with IT Leadership to determine technology needs in response to business strategies.
- Requires strong relationship building skills
- Requires solid leadership, technical skills, and project management fundamentals
- Managing ERP implementation and integration projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of 3 developers as well as shaping the strategy and planning for the applications team.
- Owns all of the support and maintenance for all 3rd party applications in support of the ERP
- Develops and documents frameworks, policies, business process, and data management solutions to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved as efficiently as possible within a secure environment.
- Leads technical project planning activities including defining and organizing tasks, roles and responsibilities, and prioritization of deliverables.
- Advocate for sound SDLC concepts. Understands how technology solutions progress through life cycle phases of requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and decommission.
- Foster strong customer service mindset with both internals team and external customers.
- Conducts performance management and coaching for direct reports to ensure process are followed.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
10+ years broad application background
3+ years management experience
5+ year project management experience
