Network Security Manager and Security Endpoint Manager
Lucas Group is looking for a Network Security Manager and Security Endpoint Manager who can still be hands on. Leading a team of 8-10 and you must have pervasive management skills being able to work with all management levels to identify, research, analyze and resolve Information Technology issues. This is a collaborative team of managers that work well together and are looking for not just the righty skill set but also a team oriented mentality where you support and help one another.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and directs the daily operations of network operations staff and records incidents and changes.
- Manage all network security including cryptographic tools, methods, and systems. This includes firewalls, authorization and authentication, and Remote Access.
- Manage the Internet/Intranet/Extranet infrastructure: LAN/WAN infrastructure design and build out.
- Security audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, firewall administration, intrusion detection technologies.
- Produces Operations Service Center Metrics.
- Assists with the preparation of, the annual budget, as well as assists with monitoring the department budget.
- Planning responsibilities and strategic initiatives.
- Recommends policies and creates procedures.
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships.
- Executes business and organizational objectives that build and support sustained revenue growth, maximize firm results and effectively leverage people/processes.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree
- 7 years of experience including management or leadership experience or a combination of education, training and experience.
- Proficient in Customer Support, Training, Vendor Management, Project Management, Enterprise Implementation, Metrics Development, Measurement and Reporting.
Highly Preferred:
- Data Loss Prevention
- Windows and Linux operating systems and their inherent controls
- Enterprise Certificate and Key management
- Security Incident and Event Management Solutions
- CISSP
- Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
