Our growing biotech company client needs a top notch financial professional to head their FP&A function. The location is commutable from far Northwest Houston suburbs or would require relocation, with some assistance offered by the company. Duties:
This role reports to the CAO and will have great exposure to the executive management team. This role is an individual contributor position but will get support from the accounting team as needed. Responsible for the following:
Coordinating the completion of the annual budget with all departments.
Responsible for forecasting including multi year plans.
Review of actual results VS budgeted amounts and explanation of variances
Implement process improvements for the above.
Background:
Requires 6+ years (more would be better) of experience
BS in Accounting/Finance/Econ, MBA is a plus
Public accounting and CPA are preferred but not required
Manufacturing and international exposure are pluses
Strong ERP and Excel skills
MBA a plus
