The Manager, Consolidations and Internal Reporting works collaboratively with domestic and foreign operating unit CFO’s and Controllers, as well as operations, accounting, legal and tax management at the parent company in order to structure and maintain a reporting framework that provides a meaningful financial information to all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop four direct reports.
- Oversight and preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results, internal management reports and related supporting schedules primarily utilizing Hyperion standardized reports and Smartview
- Management of month end FDMEE and HFM global close process, and consolidations,
- Foreign exchange rates, inter-company eliminations and investment in subsidiaries
- New entity setup in Hyperion applications
- Monthly uploads to HFM, Planning and Essbase
- Maintain Hyperion chart of accounts and ensure alignment with integrated operating unit accounting systems.
- Develop and deliver training throughout the organization on how to efficiently and effectively report results through the Hyperion financial reporting platform.
- Special projects and ad hoc analysis
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & CPA
- Minimum 2 years public accounting experience
- 10 years total relevant accounting experience including a minimum of two years in public accounting.
- Strong Consolidations experience, US GAAP with a large public company setting.
- Intermediate to advanced PC Skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
- Hyperion HFM and Smartview
- FDMEE, DRM, and Essbase is a plus
