Manager, Accounting Operations (Closed)

A well established company, headquartered in Houston, TX, has an opening for an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will provide financial reporting and manage the day-to-day accounting and financial analysis, while serving as a business partner to all department leaders and recommending solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree from major university
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred
• Experience with Great Plains
• Solid Excel experience (advanced sorting/look up functions)
• Good team player-willingness to work overtime when needed to meet reporting deadlines; someone who will help out others during crunch times

Salary: Upper 80’s to lower 90’s
