Maintenance Technician (Tulsa, OK) (Closed)

This position is responsible for providing industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include equipment setup, breakdown, mechanical troubleshooting and repair.

Qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Formal training in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics Systems
• Flexibility to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing operation,
• Ability to perform maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems,
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues with the assets,
• Electrical knowledge is a plus,
• Proficiency in basic Mig and Tig welding for repair purposes,
• Proficiency in shop machinery including mills, lathes, drill presses and normal industrial tools for repair purposes,
• Ability to setup, breakdown and repair equipment,
• Knowledge and understanding of preventive maintenance concepts,
• Ability to interpret results from rounds and inspections to ensure appropriate repairs planned and executed.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechatronics Systems Technician certificate or degree.  They must possess good written and oral communication skills. They will be able to apply their critical thinking skills to: 1) raise vital questions and problems and formulate them clearly and precisely; 2) gather and assess data and information and interpret it effectively; 3) come to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards; 4) think open-minded about alternatives while recognizing and assessing the assumptions, implications and practical consequences; 5) communicate effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems.
