Maintenance Technician (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with our Manufacturing client in the Paterson area on their search for a Maintenance Technician. If you have a keen eye for detail and handling sensitive equipment then we highly encourage you to apply today, especially if you were formerly in the military.

What You Will Do:

• System checks
• Assist other departments as needed
• Inspect HVAC systems and do basic maintenance
• Safety: make sure the work environment is safe from hazards
• Electrical: replace electrical switches, test/replace circuit breakers, fix various equipment
• Painting: basic touch ups and painting occasionally required
• Carpentry: basic carpentry skills
• Operations: observe and verify equipment operates in an efficient manner
• Repairs: plumbing systems, plaster, wall coverings, work equipment

Skills Needed:

• HVAC maintenance
• Electrical maintenance knowledge
• Basic painting & carpentry skills
• Machinery repair

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work Experience: 1+ years relevant experience
• Former Military members are highly encouraged to apply
