We are exclusively partnering with our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing and packaging company on a Reliability Engineer role located NE of Baton Rouge. This is a very visible and essential position and will report directly to the Executive Leadership. This opportunity offers an annual bonus in addition to a competitive base salary. Persons without a Mechanical, Industrial Engineering degree will not be considered.
This is a brand new position and the person will be a mid-level leader on the team. They will help build out maintenance program, organization is very moldable. This role will focus on preventative maintenance, they have a maintenance team that focuses on day to day ‘putting out fires’.
Background of the candidate: prefer to have someone with a liquid filling background and bottling background: producing bottles and liquid filling lines
Key Requirements:
Must be extremely strong in reliability programs and building out preventative reliability programs.
The ideal candidate ise familiar with liquid filling equipment (oil, water etc…) and conveyors
Strong plus if candidate has Plastic experience: injection molding, blend modeling..etc
Equipment onsite: pumps, valves, packaging equipment, palletizer, depalletizers
PLC: troubleshooting for most part, some programming would be great (no ladder logic)
Experience: 5-10 years of reliability experience, overall 10 years of engineering experience preferred
Must have Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree
