Maintenance & Facilities Manager (Closed)

We are continue our partnership with a multi-billion dollar industry leader as they are seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager for a cornerstone operation in the Rockford, IL area. 

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Maintenance, Facilities and Machinery for the plant by establishing goals and objectives for the business, and managing the assets assigned for both people and equipment. The position has responsibility for achieving or exceeding the expected operational performance levels as well as financial performance, work ethic and moral. The position is also part of the plant’s senior management team, and as such required to work with the other senior managers to determine, implement and enforce plant rules and policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Prior experience within a Union environment is preferred
• 5+ years’ of maintenance leadership experience
• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience within a machining environment
• Proven experience with People Development; building, leading and motivating teams           
• Strong communication skills at all levels within organization 
• Ability to further develop the culture of CI and facilitate Improvements while teaching the tools      
• Self-directed with effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Understanding of MRP systems
