Paralegal to join global law firm’s Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice (Midtown Manhattan)

INSURANCE AND RE-INSURANCE COMPANY DEFENSE:

    • insurance coverage
    • breach of contract
    • negligent claims handling
    • misrepresentation
    • bad faith
    • fraud

POLICY HOLDER DEFENSE:

    • labor and employment
    • securities fraud
    • breach of fiduciary duty
    • directors and officer liability
    • allegations of professional negligence
    • product liability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • Paralegal Certificate is a plus
  • 5+ years of insurance litigation experience, including supporting each phase of litigation
  • 5+ years of experience tracking claims and organizing insurance policies
  • Class Action experience
  • Expert-level case management ability for large complex matters specifically in the insurance industry
  • Deep understanding of the e-discovery process and high level of proficiency utilizing litigation support software, such as Concordance and Relativity
