Title: LIMS Program Manager

We have partnered with our client in their search for a LIMS Program Manager to lead the strategic implementation and management of a Laboratory Information Management System across their operations. This pivotal role involves direct oversight of comprehensive LIMS integrations, enhancing laboratory workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will bring a robust blend of project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the entire implementation process of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Lead and develop technical teams, ensuring effective deployment and integration of LIMS solutions with client systems.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory and IT stakeholders to clearly define project objectives, scope, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory needs.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines, maintaining rigorous oversight of project financials and performance metrics.
- Conduct meticulous requirements gathering, ensuring the LIMS aligns with regulatory compliance standards like FDA, GxP, CLIA, CAP, and maintains data integrity.
- Facilitate comprehensive training programs for users, promoting smooth transitions and high engagement with new systems.
- Implement risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate potential project pitfalls.
- Maintain systematic project documentation and assess outcomes post-implementation to derive insights and strategic recommendations for future projects.

Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Laboratory Science, or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in direct project management and 3 years specifically in managing LIMS implementations.
