Our client who is a leading financial institution is seeking a remote interim experienced operations professional to support a complex structured finance and lending platform. This individual will play a key role in transaction execution, operational oversight, stakeholder management, and process governance across a diverse portfolio of financing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational activities associated with structured lending and financing transactions from execution through ongoing administration.
- Coordinate funding, settlements, reconciliations, and transaction-related cash movements.
- Partner with internal teams including portfolio management, treasury, finance, risk, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Manage relationships with external counterparties, service providers, and financial intermediaries.
- Oversee reporting, documentation, controls, and operational procedures to support an evolving platform.
- Identify and resolve operational exceptions while driving process improvements and best practices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience within structured finance, private credit, lending operations, capital markets operations, or asset-backed financing.
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, cash flow mechanics, settlements, and operational controls.
- Experience supporting complex credit or financing structures in a bank, asset manager, specialty finance company, or alternative investment firm.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with loan administration or investment operations systems.
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
