We have partnered with our client in their search for a Lead Big Data Developer.
Responsibilities
Drive re-engineering and architecture consolidation of two internal platforms.
Develop and articulate actionable target state backend and data architectures and roadmaps in support of enterprise data management strategies, including but not limited to data lake, data master, data distribution & consumption architecture patterns
Work with business users across multiple product lines to gather requirements and drive consolidation of platforms.
Provides enterprise architecture planning, design and deployment in business solutions.
Technology - providing client-focused, technology-based solutions, enhancing client success through world-class software and leading-edge infrastructure.
Designs stable and flexible high-performance solutions, maximizing reuse and avoiding redundancy. Works with other stakeholders in optimizing architecture solutions.
Works with the enterprise business architects, application architects, database architects and technology architects for deploying technology solutions
Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
10-12 years of experience in technology and engineering/architecture roles required; experience in the securities or financial services industry
Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Hive
Agile Development experience, SDLC Tools
Experience consolidating enterprise data platforms is a major plus
Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and how it interacts with technology ecosystem
Excellent communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously
