The Key Account Manager, for bulk sales, will be responsible for managing the top bulk customer accounts in our company. This person will build and maintain a strong relationship with the client and serve as the primary point of contact for all key client matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an existing book of business as well as bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and develop new relationships with potential clients.
  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure account health and growth.
  • Document client demand in clear detail and communicate that demand to Sourcing department to ensure a perfect product-market fit.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements to be able to anticipate client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and establish timelines.
  • Collaborate with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.
  • Support and contribute to sales strategies to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Communicate with the sourcing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment in a timely manner.
  • Quickly resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with issues appropriately to maintain trust.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Professionally represents the company and brand at industry events.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Do you have?

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of sales account management or related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and negotiate
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
