About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business & Data Analyst to join our Operations Platform team. In this role, you will analyze existing business rules, calculations, and system data to support the implementation of new technologies and processes. You will play a key part in translating business requirements into platform solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring smooth adoption of deployed systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to document current processes and guide the transition to new technology platforms.
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to validate system processes and calculations.
  • Provide hands-on support during the first 60 days post-implementation, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Analyze captured data to identify anomalies and inconsistencies; recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate root causes of data or system issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Prepare clear, professional summaries of findings for stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and develop solution-oriented business cases for review.
  • Work cross-functionally with technology, operations, finance, and sales teams to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate reporting for ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business/data analyst role.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; expert-level preferred. Experience with SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and create user-friendly reports and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
  • Highly organized with excellent task management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint Online is a plus.
