Junior AI Development Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a highly curious and hands-on Junior AI Developer to join our growing AI Innovation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prototyping, research, and solving ambiguous technical problems. You will work closely with a senior AI leader who will provide strategic areas of focus from the business. Your mission: investigate, experiment, figure out how things can be built, and deliver working prototypes that demonstrate value to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Prototyping

• Conduct hands-on research into AI techniques, frameworks, and tools to determine feasibility for business use cases.
• Translate conceptual business problems into technical approaches and prototype solutions.
• Build functional demos that showcase potential AI capabilities to business teams.

Project & Solution Exploration

• Investigate AI-powered data clean-up and data-quality automation approaches; design and prototype solutions.
• Evaluate third-party AI tools (e.g., AI phone answering systems) by conducting research, hands-on testing, and performance comparisons.
• Develop recommendations for standardizing tooling based on findings, metrics, and business needs.

Development & Technical Deep Dives

• Explore APIs (internal and external), understand how they work, and build lightweight web-based prototypes for testing and user evaluation.
• Document research findings, technical designs, and prototype outcomes in a clear and structured manner.
• Work iteratively, incorporating feedback and adjusting prototypes as needed.
