Jr. Accountant (Closed)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record returned payments
• Record rent deductions bi-weekly
• Receipt checks (collection checks, insurance refunds, utility, ancillary income, etc.)
• Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare weekly cash position for Property Accounting review
• Prepare and reconcile bi-weekly billbacks
• Build and review monthly financial packages
• Post gross potential rent
• Prepare security deposit true ups
• Post bank fees
• Recording various journal entries as needed
• Assist with audit requests as needed
• Assist with ad-hoc reports as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in accounting
• Must be highly detailed and organized
• Must have a positive/helpful attitude
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager accounting system is a plus
