Joint Interest Accountant - E&P
Our client is a private oil & gas exploration company owned located in beautiful Southern Colorado! They are known as one of the top employers in the area. They own interest in ~2000 operated and non-operated properties.. Due to growth and an internal promotion, they have an opening for a Joint Interest Accountant on the their team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
4+ years in Oil & Gas Upstream Accounting with small to midsize Oil & Gas company
Direct JIB experience for Operated Wells
Working knowledge/understanding of JIB Accounting & Billing, DOI, allocations, payout, etc.
Respond to questions from Interest owners
Understanding of Revenue Distribution, a plus
Proficient with Oil & Gas ERP software such as OGSYS, Enertia, etc.
Intermediate Excel Skills required
