TITLE: React UI Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Our financial services client is searching for a Java UI Developer to join their team in Houston, TX on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week in the office.
Your role would be to act as the UI developer in the feature team helping to build the vision of the UX team. This will entail collaborating with the team to form the sprints that will get us to the MVP and then finally the target state. You will lead the UI development everything from forming the initial mocks through to the final production delivery. You will also collaborate with other UI developers to get involved with code reviews and building up our catalogue of UI components to facilitate faster development.
Technical Skills:
• React UI (react-hooks, props etc.)
• Typescript
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Graphql
• GIT
• Automated Build and Unit Testing
Desirable:-
• Python or Java
• Mock ups (wireframes and flats)
• Design driven development process (Information architecture, mood boards, user journey etc.)
