We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities

  • Strong Java + Java design patterns / principles (deal-breaker if weak; must understand/debug AI-generated code)
  • Ability to lead design and deliver features end-to-end from a given requirement
  • Basic AWS knowledge (Lambda, ECS, SNS, etc.)
  • Basic relational database design/operational knowledge
  • Container knowledge (Docker or ECS; applications packaged and deployed as containers)

Skills Required

  • AWS, Java, Terraform
  • ECS (not Kubernetes),
  • Kafka is a plus,

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of work experience
