IT Systems Admin/Security Analyst

Job Summary: As the IT Systems Administrator (Security Specialist) with Korn Ferry you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the security of our systems and servers, with a particular focus on vulnerability management. This dual-role position involves working alongside our Senior Server Engineer and mentoring a junior team member while handling security tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Maintenance and Analysis:

   • Act as a true security analyst, specializing in desktop security with a senior-level expertise.
   • Monitor security notifications, distinguishing false positives from actual security events, and escalate incidents as necessary.
   • Manage and optimize the utilization of various security tools to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

2. Vulnerability Management:

   • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the Vulnerability Management system.
   • Collaborate closely with the patch management team to ensure timely patching and remediation of vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

• Moderate experience in IT systems administration with a strong emphasis on security.
• Proven expertise in analyzing security notifications and incidents.
• Familiarity with various security tools, with a focus on vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of patch management and its role in security.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent, are a plus.
