Korn Ferry is currently supporting a client with a short-term IT Support requirement based onsite in Co. Galway.

We're looking to speak with IT Support Analysts / IT Support Technicians who are available immediately or at short notice for a 3-4 month onsite contract.

This role would suit someone with Level 1 or Level 2 support experience who is comfortable in a hands-on onsite IT operations environment.

Role focus:

  • Providing onsite IT support across the service desk / IT operations environment
  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting end-user workstations and mobile devices
  • Supporting Windows desktop environments
  • Installing and supporting printers
  • Reinstalling Windows operating systems where required
  • Supporting basic networking issues across LAN, VLAN, WAN, IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Working closely with the internal IT team to maintain required desktop service levels

Ideal background:

  • Experience in IT support, desktop support, deskside support, service desk or field support
  • Good working knowledge of Windows environments
  • Basic networking knowledge across IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Comfortable with hardware setup, troubleshooting and onsite user support
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • IT qualification preferred
  • Available to work fully onsite in Galway

This is a 3-4 month contract, fully onsite, and would suit someone available immediately or at short notice.
