Lucas Group is working with a company in Cincinnati on an IT Operations Manager position. They are seeking a highly driven Manager that is familiar working with both the Engineering and IT side and how machines work with one another. This is a newly created position that has the opportunity to come in and grow out a team.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Engineering and Operations to define priorities for project support
• Coordinate with third parties for project and support services
• Collaborate with Engineering on projects related to automation, IoT, and data analytics
• Manage OT team members
• Manage external contractors as an extension of the OT Team
• Define solutions for keeping OT networks, controls and related systems operating consistently and reliably
• Interface with IT and collaborate on data management and exchange between the OT and business networks
• Develop multi-year strategic plans for system upgrades, automation advancement, and data management practices
• Act as a subject matter expert for OT
• Ensure OT systems are compliant with the all updates or changes to IT policies
• Develop, define, or improve OT policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot hardware or OT failures and take necessary actions ensuring no or minimal downtime to clients
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BS/MS in Engineering with work experience in Automation Engineering or Control Systems or a BS/MS in IT Field with work experience in manufacturing control systems and OT systems
• 10+ years of Operations Technology (OT) and Control System experience within the process chemistry or related industry
