Seeking an Inventory Planning Manager for an oilfield services company that has completed multiple acquisitions over the past several years. This is a newly created position that will lead the Sales, Operations & Planning function and provide support for the production scheduling and sourcing functions for two manufacturing facilities. This individual will serve as a critical point of contact between sales, operations and finance, with a focus on improving inventory turns. This role will report directly to the VP of Manufacturing with a dotted line relationship to the CFO.
Keys:
• Strongly prefer OFS
• Standard Cost Accounting and Inventory experience
• 5-7 years Materials Management experience in a manufacturing (inventory) environment and use of related management tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Background in standard cost accounting
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certification or training, a plus but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Some travel 1-2x per month
