The Lucas Group has partnered with our client on the East side of Houston that is seeking an Inventory Clerk. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
  • Maintain and update inventory records
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price and cost.
  • Complies payables, organize, stamp and
  • Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts such as recording address changes and purging records of non-active customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associates degree in business, or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in billing, credit and collections work.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization,
  • Analyzing Information , Accounting, Vendor Relationships, PC Proficiency,
  • Data Entry Skills and, General Math Skills
  • Liquid inventory experience - Required
  • Accounting experience required
