The Lucas Group has partnered with our client on the East side of Houston that is seeking an Inventory Clerk. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
- Maintain and update inventory records
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price and cost.
- Complies payables, organize, stamp and
- Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts such as recording address changes and purging records of non-active customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associates degree in business, or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in billing, credit and collections work.
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization,
- Analyzing Information , Accounting, Vendor Relationships, PC Proficiency,
- Data Entry Skills and, General Math Skills
- Liquid inventory experience - Required
- Accounting experience required
