Inventory Accountant (Closed)

Lucas Group is partnering with a growing company in Lakewood to Identify a Contract Inventory Accountant. This candidate will work directly with the VP of finance, and plays a pivotal part in assigning values to the company’s inventory. The inventory accountant will work with other business unit leaders and executive teams. This will be a 4 month contract starting right away!

Responsibilities:

• Using internal and external data sources provide detailed inventory listings
• Provide inventory & cost of goods sold schedules to auditors upon request
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Prior audit experience and CPA designation required
• Strong understanding of Inventory valuation practices and techniques in accordance to GAAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organization and time management
• Ability to perform under deadlines
• High-level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent Excel
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, as well as in teams.
