Subject Line: Manager Internal Reporting: up to $170K
Our firm has been selected to conduct a search for a Manager Internal Reporting on behalf of an, upstream E&P company with a seasoned management team. Ideal candidate will have 15 plus years’ technical accounting and research expertise in the upstream or midstream space. Compensation: up to 170K
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary and competitive benefits.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in Accounting including energy experience in the Upstream and Midstream industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in public accounting and/or a publicly traded company is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, disclosure requirements
- WellPoint BOLO Oil and Gas Software preferred including proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.
Some responsibilities include…
- Manage the preparation of monthly internal financial statements, month-month variance analysis for management review.
- Manage/prepare quarterly and year-to-date variance explanations for Management, Discussion and Analysis in the Form 10-Q and Form 10-K.
- Support the SEC financial function–prepare financial data/tables for SEC reports, exhibits and disclosures.
- Manage and coordinate the monthly close process, support GAAP technical accounting research, analysis, documentation and application.
- Maintain financial reporting internal and operational controls.
