We have partnered with our healthcare client, located in MA, who is seeking an Interim VP of Public Relations/ Crisis Communications Management professional to support the department with the SVP retiring.
Responsibilities
Build out the appropriate structure.
Assess the marketing and communications services and people.
Collaborate with stakeholders.
Mentor/coach internal talent.
Develop and implement a communications strategy.
A strategic systems thinker and a doer at heart able to bring the vision to reality.
Successfully designed, and implemented, forward-looking, public relations and communications strategies.
Effective communicator with the ability to build trust both internally and externally.
Skills Required
Seasoned executive who has led a prior healthcare organization's Public Relations and Communications department.
Expertise in setting up capacity management to address the needs of the C-Suite, employees, physicians, and the community at large.
Skills to move the client through “crisis situations.”
Solid Executive Intelligence and ability to Interface with existing executives.
Work across functions to set up new ways of working.
Mentor and coach potential up-and-coming project management leaders.
Experienced working at a health system of similar size and scale.
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred.
Extensive healthcare Crisis Communication management experience.
