We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Treasury & Tax Lead. This role will focus on strengthening financial infrastructure and resolving tax exposures, and will play a key role in stabilizing treasury operations, enhancing cash visibility, and addressing tax and compliance matters.
This is a W2 hourly interim opportunity through Korn Ferry requiring onsite work at the client in Peachtree City, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to resolve multi-state tax exposures, including sales and use tax matters
- Manage and clean up tax compliance issues to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to present a clear, risk-mitigated tax profile
- Support financial diligence and cleanup of treasury and tax operations
- Improve and formalize cash forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital visibility
- Optimize cash flow and ensure alignment with short- and long-term business needs
- Strengthen covenant monitoring and compliance, ensuring adherence to lender requirements
- Identify and remediate gaps in treasury processes, controls, and reporting
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience across multi-state and sales/use tax
- Treasury, cash management, and/or corporate tax experience
- Experience supporting M&A transactions, diligence, or readiness initiatives
- Ability to identify and remediate operational, financial, and tax risks
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience within private equity portfolio company environments
