Role Overview
Seeking a strategic and creative Interim-to-Hire Director of Event Marketing to lead event programming, drive bookings, and build brand presence. Ideal for a visionary marketer passionate about hospitality, community engagement, and experiential events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a year-round event marketing strategy for corporate, social, and community events.
- Promote private bookings and full-venue buyouts.
- Create brand-aligned content and campaigns across digital and print.
- Design and activate signature events (e.g., pool parties, wellness mornings, music nights).
- Manage social media and drive online engagement.
- Generate leads and support sales efforts.
- Build partnerships with local vendors, performers, and influencers.
- Track event performance and optimize strategy.
- Optionally manage contractors or a small team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in event marketing, ideally in hospitality or lifestyle venues.
- Skilled in digital marketing, content creation, and project management.
- Strong creative direction and storytelling ability.
