Interim Senior Manager, Commercial Technology & Digital Solutions
Position Overview
Korn Ferry has been engaged to identify a Senior Manager, Commercial Technology & Digital Platforms for a growing pharmaceutical organization. This leader will own the strategy, optimization, and delivery of commercial systems, analytics, reporting, and digital solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience within commercial pharmaceutical technology environments and will serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors. This individual will drive platform enhancements, improve data and reporting capabilities, support digital transformation initiatives, and evaluate emerging technologies that improve efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve commercial technology platforms and associated business processes.
- Lead system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, testing, and production support activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Develop and expand reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.
- Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and access to actionable business insights.
- Evaluate and implement AI, automation, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through execution.
- Manage third-party vendors, service providers, budgets, and technology roadmaps.
- Support the ongoing growth and scalability of commercial technology capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience supporting commercial technology, business systems, analytics, or digital platforms within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
- Deep experience leading and supporting Veeva Commercial Vault environments.
- Strong background within commercial pharmaceutical technology organizations.
- Experience owning enterprise applications, system integrations, and vendor relationships.
- Strong Power BI reporting, dashboard development, and analytics experience.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and technology initiatives.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business partnership skills.
- Experience with AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ZS ZAIDYN or similar commercial intelligence platforms.
- Experience with Veeva CRM, PromoMats, MedComms, or related commercial applications.
- Experience supporting commercial operations, sales, marketing, or market access organizations.
- Experience building internal analytics and reporting capabilities.
